Parque Duarte

Ideally situated smack in the heart of the city, the large, fenced Parque Duarte is the perfect rest stop for a break from visiting the city’s iconic sights. With a ceiling of towering, ancient trees, the park is also surrounded with historical buildings, including the cathedral, the former city hall, and the pedestrian-packed shopping street Calle del Sol. There’s plenty of people traffic to watch while relaxing on a bench in one of the country’s most beautiful urban parks.
